Well, for a split of a second, I really thought the Fall may have made me unable to see things. But perhaps not. Perhaps I tend to overlook things at times anyway. In any case, ingenious creation, isn’t it? Hidden eyes. 😉
I should have looked up “cowry”. I thought it had something to do with your treatment. Now I see the antennae. The bumps are just part of the shell?
I also did some looking up. This is what I found in a cowry forum: apparently this is part of the mantle, two flaps which fold up and enclose the shell. Fascinating creatures, aren’t they? 🙂
